Speaking of rats…

…and isn’t that what everyone’s talking about this week? Rats in Boston? Rats in Boston restaurants? Here in A-B, we know rats are a problem. In fact — and I shudder to think of this — I think I saw one run across the street a couple of evenings ago, as I was walking from my car to my front door. As usual, the car was parked a ten-minute walk from my door, and I could go down one of two streets to get to my destination. Needless to say, the rat determined which route I took. You guessed it — I did everything I could to avoid the rat. And it’s no surprise — I can hardly handle a mouse!

At least you saw the rat on the street. Shortly before I moved out of Allston, a whole crew of rats moved into my yard. Just coming up the front walk I’d see two or three scurrying around. Eeek!
