PSF trivia fundraiser - team ‘US’ wins BIG!

As some of you may know, the Presentation School Foundation held a wicked awesome pub trivia game/fundraiser last night at the Castlebar pub in Oak Square. Team “Us,” which included your friendly neighborhood reporter (that would be me) wiped the floor with the competition, winning by at least 10 points. This is not necessarily due to the fact that Tab reporters have an innate sense of trivia, but because our team was somewhat unfairly stacked with latecomers who wandered in from the 23 or so other meetings going on in A-B last night. Our table by the door seemed to be the gathering place for stragglers, whose collective impressive brainpower propelled us to victory.
At various points in the evening we had not only our core group of four members, but also Rep. Kevin Honan (who has an encyclopedic knowledge of movies!), City Council candidate Greg Glennon, random Castlebar regular and dart player ‘Josh,’ and ex-PSF board member (and extremely tall guy) Joe Mulligan.
I hope everyone had as much fun (and enjoyed those chicken wings) as much as I did! Kudos to the other teams for keeping us on our toes, and good luck to PSF in its fundraising efforts.
