Back in my A-B days, I did a feature on the band Destruct-a-Thon, headed by Duncan Wilder Johnson. Duncan, who is no stranger to tough injuries, is asking for help for a friend:
A bartender he knows at the Middle East, Sara Starr, recently had a biking accident and is quickly piling up a lot of medical bills. Without health insurance, she’s in a bind. Duncan and some other musicians are putting on a benefit tonight at Great Scott.
The event kicks off at 8:30 with some of Duncan’s spoken word. Having heard his CD, I’d recommend it if you like funny things or metal.
