An amazing stroke of luck

Last night at 10 p.m., I found a parking spot right in front of my building! I was so amazed I could hardly believe it was true. Even went down a half hour later to make sure I hadn’t missed any street cleaning signs that would get my car towed in the morning. But no. It was a real and legitimate parking spot. And *I* got it. Anyhow, this happens so rarely and is so exciting that I just had to share.

I know how you feel. Whenever I find a spot close to where I need to go, I get paranoid that it’s too good to be true and I’m going to get ticketed or towed.
