Signs, signs, everywhere signs

Since I don’t live in Allston anymore and I’m no longer the A-B TAB reporter, my interest in the city council election is limited to the candidate signs I see when I drive through the area on my way to work.

First, let me commend all the candidates on their very nice signs. Everyone used bold colors and easy to read fonts. Way to go!

One thing has caused me to do a double-take more than once. I’ve noticed that Mark Ciommo’s signs identify him as a Democrat. So I’m wondering, are any Republicans running and does Mark know that Massachusetts municipal elections are non-partisan?
