Mr. Butch memorials
If you’re going to Mr. Butch’s memorial parade on Sunday and either can’t get in/don’t want to go in the church for the ceremony, several Allston locales will be open for people to come together and share their memories about Butch.

When a homeless person dies
The outpouring of love the community has shown for Mr. Butch since his death has been heart-warming. But not every homeless person gets that sort of attention when they die. Read more here.

The passing of Mr. Butch has led to an outpouring of love from the community. The other day while walking down Harvard Ave. I saw a small message scrawled on a wall that said, “Drink 10 for Butch.” From Comm. Ave. I saw “R.I.P. Butch” sprayed on a roof.”

The memorial procession for Mr. Butch will begin at the intersection of Commonwealth and Harvard Avenues at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Mr. Butch memorial details
Tonight’s memorial for Allston street icon Mr. Butch has been postponed. A New Orleans-style funeral parade in memory of Butch will be held on Sunday, July 22, and is tentatively scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. A service will follow at 8 p.m. at the International Community Church, 557 Cambridge St. in Allston.

Tonight’s memorial for Allston street icon Mr. Butch has been postponed, the Herald reports, so his family can be present. After the memorial, there will be a parade through the streets of Allston.
