1954 saga continues

The Boston Landmarks Commission will review the alleged violations at 1954 Commonwealth Ave. at a hearing on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in room 900 of City Hall.
As previously reported, the commission called for a site inspection after the owner reportedly chopped down several trees without a permit.

The Sept. 21 game against Brown has been rescheduled, and will now be played Saturday, Sept. 22, school officials said. Kickoff will still be at 7:30 p.m.

Nightime football game stirs anger

Harvard University will go before the city’s licensing and entertainment board on Aug. 20 to get approval for its 2007 football schedule, which includes a nighttime game that several residents said rescinds on a previous promise made by the school.
