Presentation celebration

There was a Presentation School Foundation event last night at Devlin’s in Brighton Center, where they passed out an ominous flyer. It reads as follows:

It’s time to celebrate! Please join the Presentation School Foundation and special guest Mayor Thomas Menino in Oak Square. Friday Oct. 12, 2007, 3:30 p.m.DJ, cake, pizza and more!

What, exactly, the PSF is celebrating isn’t clear. The organization has been working to purchase the former Our Lady of the Presentation School building in Oak Square for some time, so one has to wonder what may be happening on Oct. 12. More information to come as it becomes available.
