Only 124 votes were cast in Allston-Brighton yesterday in the special state election for the Middlesex, Suffolk and Essex Senate district, according to unofficial results from the city election department. Cambridge City Councilor Anthony Galluccio, who ran unopposed after winning the Democratic primary last month, received 119 of those votes.

While only six precincts of A-B are included in the district, there are 8,146 registered voters in those precincts. This means only 1.5 percent voted yesterday.

Last month, 524 votes were cast during the Democratic primary, or 6 percent of the total registered voters.

There were 8,156 registered voters at the time of the primary, meaning A-B has lost 10 voters in those six precincts.
