The top cop turnover in Allston-Brighton continues, as District D-14 got its third police captain this year on Monday.

Capt. Frank Mancini, who was promoted on Friday, will now run the station.

Mancini was a Lieutenant detective in the anti-corruption unit before his promotion and transfer.

Outgoing Capt. Genevieve King, who supervised the district for less than five months, was transferred to the Family Justice Division in Brighton, where she will lead the unit responsible for handling sexual assaults, human trafficking and family domestic issues for the entire city, according to BPD media relations.

King came on in May to replace Capt. Mark Hayes, who held the position for 9 months before being promoted.
