Hanlon, Jenner endorse Ciommo

Former city council candidates Rosie Hanlon and James Jenner have endorsed their former opponent Mark Ciommo for Allston-Brighton city councilor. Alex Selvig, another former opponent, announced earlier this week he was endorsing Ciommo.

Ciommo now has the support of every candidate who ran in the Sept. 25 primary, except his current opponent Greg Glennon.

Tim Schofield, who placed third, announced he was endorsing Ciommo just days after the primary.

“I know that [Mark] will best serve the people of this community with dedication and presence. I also know that Mark will be a strong voice for Allston-Brighton,” Hanlon said in a statement.

Jenner, who dropped out of the race to work on Hanlon’s campaign a week before voters went to the polls, called Ciommo “Allston-Brighton through and through.”
