Honoring Honan

Tomorrow, the Honan-Allston Library will dedicate a bas-relief of the late city councilor Brian Honan, whom the library is named after. Honan was instrumental in bringing a library back to Allston and will be honored in a ceremony featuring Mayor Thomas Menino and his older brother, state Rep. Kevin Honan.

Here’s what the front of the library looked like on Thursday night, awaiting the installation of the relief.
