BC Task Force to meet weekly

The Boston College Task Force will meet weekly throughout January to discuss the school’s Institutional Master Plan. At each meeting, the Task Force will discuss a certain topic of the plan. The schedule is as follows:

Jan. 8 - Athletic facilities
Jan. 16 - Traffic, transportation and parking
Jan. 22 - Housing
Jan. 29 - Open space, academic use and summary of community meetings

Task Force member Kevin Carragee said BC will give short presentations at the meetings, followed by neighborhood discussion. BC officials confirmed they will be present at the Jan. 8 and Jan. 16 meetings, but had not been approached about the two later meetings yet.

Meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Brighton Marine Health Center, 77 Warren St. The deadline to submit public comment about the plan to the Boston Redevelopment Authority is Feb. 5.
