The burrito war starts tomorrow in Cleveland Circle when the new Chipotle, at 1924 Beacon Street, celebrates their opening with free burritos from 11 am to 8 pm.
If you go … stop back and let me know how long the line was and if you liked the burrito.
I stopped by today about noon time. There were about 75 people in line and it looked like it took about 15 minutes to get served. You have until 8 tonight to get a free burrito.

pfff, burrito war? Chipotle is awful… there’s one in Medford and in Davis, both of them are ALWAYS empty, that is after the free burrito day…

Yesss Chipotle is one of the things I really miss since I moved here from New York.
OK ……. SO WHERE ARE THE BEST BURRITOS IN THE BOSTON AREA?
I agree with Ron: Chipotle is awful. I like El Pelon Taqueria! Anna’s is good too.
But I have to say there are still lines out the door a few days after Chipotle opened. I think it’s mostly college students with no taste buds.
