SoHo vs. Brighton Beer Garden

SoHo wants to change its name to the Brighton Beer Garden. I don’t know how I feel about that. I always thought SoHo sounded kind of unique.

Let’s hope the beer is good; never mind the name.

just a name change.. smart move. Tonic was exactly the same… packed for a couple years, then people got bored of it.. and now it’s joshua tree and it’s packed again. The only changes made were like 3 extra tvs. Crowds flock to new bars (even if they’re old)

The Boston Beer Garden is a great place to watch the games and eat. Hopefully the Brighton Beer Garden will be the same

That sucks actually. I liked the old name much better- I don’t usually go to places named “Beer Garden” and I’d have a tough time getting my friends to as well- even though, unless they changed things, it’s pretty decent inside.

SoHo was a London or NYC wannabe name–at least “Brighton” is part of the new name. I’m just hoping that they carry cool beer instead of the same old choices at the Briar, Porterbelly’s, and Devlin’s.

SoHo was unique? Are you joking?

    WT!

It was not just a name change. They sealed off the whole basement which used to have a dancefloor and a separate bar. All gone now.

I have to say I was definitely bummed to hear SoHo had even closed. But you just have to check out Brighton Beer Garden. A few of us went on Friday night and then ALL of us went on Saturday night. Just a warm and friendly environment. I am telling you that I’ve been to so many and this is NOT just another sports bar. Very inviting from the minute you walk in the door with the friendly staff. I think this place is going to be around for a looooooooong time…Brighton’s “Cheers”…thank you Brighton Beer Garden!!!

Don’t know why my commented got deleted, but I ended up going to Brighton Beer Garden yesterday and it is a pretty sweet place. Got some free apps too! The manager/owner was a real nice guy.

So long SoHo and hello Brighton Beer Garden. Beer Garden is a lot more welcoming than SoHo was.
Rumor has it a downstairs bar is to open soon at Brighton Beer Garden.
Great place to watch a game and throw back a few. Food was great.

If you’ve ever been to the Boynton in Worcester and LOVE IT then you will love Brighton Beer Garden - - same ambiance and class.
