Is the BRA just going through the motions to appease BC neighbors?
I’m sure this idea — put somewhat bluntly by the poster “Eagle 1″ at the end of the Boston Herald story — has crossed all of our minds. Hopefully it’s not true.

People need to be aware BC has a history of lying to the neighborhood, going back to their broken promises re: the Alumni Stadium expansion and bogus master plan they trotted out.

There’s a lot of “you knew what you were getting into when you move to the neighborhood” by BC apologists. Well, these people pay taxes unlike the snotty, overprivledged types often making these claims, and this argument falls on its face when those who arrived even recently depended on essentially smokescreens from BC before and are now dealing w the prospect of major expansion.

A lot of these loud mouthed know it alls only care about the precious image of their overrated university and will be gone in 4 years, leaving the rest of us to deal with BC’s elitist residue.
