Woodpeckers!

I heard woodpeckers this morning in Brighton! I am very accustomed to hearing woodpeckers in my parents’ backyard in New Hampshire, where I grew up. For the first time, however, I heard woodpeckers in front of my house in Brighton this morning. Has anyone else heard these creatures around lately? It was around 7:15am and not too far from my window. I live on a side street by Washington and Comm Ave. Seems a bit puzzling to me!
