Tea with a twist of Irish

The senior citizen outreach program at the Irish Pastoral Centre is starting a new group at the veronica B. Smith Senior Center (20 Chestnut Hill Ave., Brighton). It’s called “Cara,” which is Irish for friend. Join them Mondays from 1:30-3 p.m. for:
- afternoon tea, freshly-baked goodies
- newspapers and news from home
- guest speakers and musicians with an Irish twist
- day trips and outings as the weather improves and as interests emerge
- assistance with Irish and UK pension applications
- information on passport and citizenship and centenarian bounty applications
