Harvard prez to visit Allston

In lieu of a Harvard-Allston Task Force meeting scheduled for May 28, the public is invited to a community-wide picnic to celebrate and kick off the planning process for Library Park. The event takes place 5-7:30 behind the Honan-Allston Library, future home of Library Park. Harvard University President Drew Faust will join the community.

For those who cannot make it on Wednesday, a second kick-off event is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 1-3 p.m. at the Honan-Allston Branch Library.
In collaboration with Allston neighbors, the Harvard-Allston Task Force and the city of Boston, Harvard will design and create Library Park.
