Grecian Yearning legacy to live on in film

Here’s the Herald’s story on Lonely Maiden. Scenes for the film were shot in the Grecian Yearning diner which burnt down last week in a fire that caused $2.5 million in damage.

Homicide victim identified as Perkins art teacher

The victim of the apparent homicide in an Oak Square home Tuesday has been identified as Terri Werner, 56, of Middleborough, Mass. Werner was an art teacher at the Perkins School for the Blind where the suspect in her homicide, Luis Marquez, worked and from where he graduated in 2002.

Murder probe after discovery of body

Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at 73 Nonantum St., Brighton, earlier today. According to police, a suspect has been arrested and is currently being booked. The suspect’s identity will not be released until it is verfied.
