Parking fine increases

The Boston Transportation Department has issued a reminder that certain parking fine increases are taking affect Tuesday, July 1. The ones that apply to Boston’s residential neighborhoods include:
- The fine for double-parking will change from $20 to $30
- The fine for parking where parking is prohibited will change from $10 to $15
- The fine for parking over the posted time limit will change from $10 to $15
