Talking on your cell is apparently dangerous not only if you’re driving, but even if you’re just walking. From this week’s police log:

Man on phone hit by T
A Green Line train hit a 19-year-old man at the intersection of Harvard and Commonwealth Avenues Aug. 17. Just after midnight, the victim was allegedly talking on a cell phone while attempting to cross the tracks but tripped on the curb. The train hit him, cutting him on the head and hurting his back, reports state.
