Homicide victim identified as Perkins art teacher

The victim of the apparent homicide in an Oak Square home Tuesday has been identified as Terri Werner, 56, of Middleborough, Mass. Werner was an art teacher at the Perkins School for the Blind where the suspect in her homicide, Luis Marquez, worked and from where he graduated in 2002.

Two stabbed at I-Hop

Boston police say one man was stabbed in the hand and the other was stabbed in the abdomen at the IHOP restaurant on Soldiers Field Road just after 5 p.m., WBZ-TV reports.

Two years jail for burn suspect

The man suspected of setting a woman on fire at an Allston party in April 2005 has been sentenced to 2.5 years in jail for witness intimidation after threatening her life (he was found not guilty of setting her on fire, though). A story is coming shortly.
