Welcome to Behind the Headlines! I’m Noah Bombard and I’m a managing editor with Community Newspaper Company, editor of the Times & Courier and a Clinton resident. Aside from the usual “bloggishness” you might expect from a blog, as the title suggests, you can expect to see information here about not only what’s going on in the news, but what’s going on behind it. This is a place for you to not only listen to, but to comment and participate in discussions about the hot topics impacting Lancaster and Clinton.
I will post, inform, ramble, occasionally preach and most of all, listen to what you have to say. I will temporarily put aside my lofty journalistic tone and lay it out as I see it. I expect you’ll do the same when the spirit moves you.
So, I hope you’ll follow along and join in. The headlines of the day are only the tip of the iceberg.

Hey - I just interviewed for an article with Patricia Bertuccio of the Arlington Advocate. Did I hear her say that the Lancaster/Clinton editor was coming here - that would be you? Would love to help fill you in about the town - we’ve been here 17 years and involved in a lot of local organizations. But I’m sure you’ll get the feel for it fairly quickly. Cheers, Charlotte
