Behind the Times
Your neocon fix

Somewhere in Central Massachusetts, all the previous editors of the Times & Courier, and before it The Lancaster Times, are spinning in their graves (well, since none of them are dead, spinning in their desk chairs). I’ve taken over what was once an admirably liberal editorial page and done such violence to it by endorsing a Republican and other sundry injustices.
And I haven’t even weighed in on global warming yet, like I did at my last paper.
Well, don’t go looking for your neocon fix (as one of my fellow editors would put it) in this week’s edition. My heart’s too busy bleeding for both riders who will be stranded by the WRTA if Route 110 service ends. In fact, even arch-conservative columnist Tony Marini (I mean it in a good way, Tony!) is fairly nonpartisan this week, standing guard over the Christmas season.
Not so nonpartisan on his blog, however, which features a great deconstruction of a political press release we printed from Comrade McGovern (he means it in a good way, Mr. Congressman!).
