Behind the Times
Tomorrow: Grady vs. Mendoza

Leading off the Feb. 28 newspaper is the talk of the town, Russell Grady’s list of 13 critiques of the Parks and Recreation Department — and the chilly reception he got last week when he presented them at a Parks and Rec. meeting. This story isn’t going away; Grady says he’ll run for a seat on the board.
Also in the Times & Courier front page this week is a feature on chiastolite, the rocks found throughout Lancaster with the cross-shaped inlaid design on them; news that Lancaster is selling some town land to help balance the budget; and a pair of writeups on inmates doing work at the middle school and a find-the-leprechaun game in Clinton shops this March.
Inside the paper, don’t miss the results of the Wachusett Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards judging. Two Clinton businesses, a Lancaster nonprofit and a Clinton nonprofit, and one Clinton nonprofit manager combined for five out of the six awards.
The paper’s on newsstands now. Subscribers, look for it in your mailbox tomorrow.
