Hello, Dover and Sherborn. I have some news for you, but this time, it’s not news about your towns. It’s news about your paper and about me – starting June 25, I will no longer be editor of the Dover-Sherborn Press, Wicked Local Dover or Wicked Local Sherborn. I am leaving to become the editor of the Press’ sister paper, The Needham Times and its affiliated web site, Wicked Local Needham.
I will miss Dover and Sherborn. So often newspaper editors and reporters are faced with covering grim news (financial turmoil, serious crime, natural disasters). But Dover and Sherborn truly are towns that are filled with good news. Yes, there are disputes on town boards and a few arguments about money. But mostly Dover and Sherborn are about the good work that residents are doing. Volunteers are volunteering. Artists are making art – and showing it off to the public. Students are graduating, making the honor roll and taking on projects to make their community better. Dover and Sherborn are wonderful places to live – and wonderful places to cover. Read the Press’ this week to find out who your new editor will be.

From Dover Town Library:
This summer, you can walk around town and the library and explore a scaled-down version of the solar system. Find each planet and learn interesting things about space. You can pick up a map at either the Adult or Children’s Department circulation desk.
