Ever find your manners getting away from you at hockey games? Needham High School students have, and following a warning from the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association, they are paying the price.
Their own principal banned the hooligans’ fans from attending an away game at Framingham High School tonight, after some unruly behavior at a game against Wellesley last weekend.

Maybe he was just doing some research? Or perhaps testing the town’s Internet filter system? Nah.

Well, not quite. House Speaker Sal DiMasi actually retained his leadership post by a pretty wide margin today, taking 85 percent of the vote. (Ethics, shmethics!) This probably did not go over well with Rep. David Torrisi of North Andover, who in caucuses earlier in the day voiced the only dissent against the speaker, and was the only legislator who didn’t stand and and join in the heartfelt ovation his fellow pols gave Dimasi after he spoke, according to the State House News Service. See the details.

Brace yourself, Greater Boston: The National Weather Service in Taunton says another storm is coming through. (On a side note, do you think the people in Taunton always are the first ones to know what their weather is going to be? They really should be.)
Anyway, they’re predicting “snow and ice accumulation, from 11 p.m. this evening to 6 p.m. Wednesday.” But don’t worry — they say driving and walking will be “difficult, but not impossible.” So you better plan to get your butts into work anyway.
